Sweet $100 Gift Card Giveaway!

So if you're anything like me, you've always got your eye on some new, shiny, pricey thing for the kitchen. Like, say, a sweet Le Creuset dutch oven or the culinary dreamboat that is a KitchenAid mixer. Well, because I love all y'all, and because everyone loves free money towards feeding their kitchen gear addiction, I'm very excited to have the good people at CSN Stores help me give away a $100 gift card to any one of their fabulous online shops! Personally, my heart is beating all fast for their virtually endless bakeware selection, but this gift card can be used for any CSN store that most excites you. So how can you get a chance--nay, multiple chances--to win it?

Super simple, guys. For a single entry, just leave a comment after this post answering the following question:

What piece of cookware or kitchen gadgetry can you not live without?

If you want to increase your chances of winning, first just follow me on Twitter and/or become a fan of POC Facebook and then let me know you've done so by leaving your username(s) in your comment below. You'll get an extra entry for each! If you're already a follower and/or a fanner (and thank ya kindly, by the way), let me know in your comment and I'll be sure you get the extra entries for being a dear old friend.

So by my very remedial math skills that are limited to halving recipes and reading aloud children's books about counting, if you leave a comment here, follow me on Twitter and become a POC fan on Facebook, that's THREE shots to win $100 worth of free stuff of your choosing. Hooray! Please get your entries in by Wednesday, August 6th by 6:00 p.m. PST. The winner will be announced here on Thursday morning.

If you're one of those gorgeous Canadians and you happen to win, be aware that international shipping costs may apply to your order. Thanks to CSN Stores for sponsoring this sweet giveaway!

  1. I can't live without my Williams Sonoma gold touch cookie sheet. It's the best thing I own!

  2. Wow, this is a sweet giveaway - thanks for giving us multiple shots at it (which is why, incidentally, I am now following you on Twitter and Facebook, which begs the question: Why didn't I do that sooner?!)!

To answer the big question, I think my can't-live-without piece of cookware or kitchen gadgetry might just be my All Clad griddle. If I didn't have that glorious piece of non-stick goodness, the family might just string me up by my toes for not having skyscraper-high stacks of pancakes ready on the weekends. So since self-preservation is pretty high on my must-have list, that's my final answer. (Incidentally, my Kitchen Aid stand mixer came in a VERY close second. Viva la cookie dough!) :)

  3. Ok I know this is pretty unoriginal, but really the one thing I can't live without in my kitchen is, of course, my Kitchen Aid Mixer. I love that thing to pieces.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I would definitely use this towards a stand mixer! I still haven't gotten one and this would greatly help!

  5. I'm not proud of this, but I really don't think I could live without my mini George Foreman grill. It really is just so convenient!

    ReplyDelete
  6. George Foreman grill. Yes, it's sort of a low brow piece as far as the cooking world is concerned, but I'm a vegetarian, and cook all my husband's meat entrees on the Foreman grill. It saves me so much time!

  7. So, my favorite piece of kitchen equipment is a toss up between my Le Creuset dutch oven and my All Clad grill pan. (I am also in love with my Wusthof knives.) Oh! And my $0.99 plastic pan scrapper. Couldn't live without it. And of course I follow you on Facebook. (I'm not cool enough for Twitter yet.) You're the best!

  10. Well, I would really hate to part with any of my kitchen gear, but if the house was on fire I'd probably grab my KitchenAid mixer on my way out the door! Thanks so much for a great giveaway.

I love your comments! Comments make the blogosphere go 'round. But if a comment is intentionally rude, hurtful or reminiscent of that kid that threw raisins in my hair all day long when I was the new kid in third grade, it will not be published. Thanks!
